The only downfall i experienced was when my desktop was plugged into the modem, i tried to play a online game but when my daughter came home and got on the net with her laptop, i would get lag on my pc from her using the same acess point. I am directly plugged into the modem but her laptop still got better conection then me.

We recently switched our service to Qwest. We'ver only had a limited time with this company but so far we are satisfied with our service and availability. We've had a small issue with having to refreshed the connection. Occasioanly we have to go to the sourse of the plug. We have to unplug then replug it in to reconnect the service to the internet.

I am very happy with the service, I have had a bunch of different internet providers, but I would have to say that Qwest, has by far come closest to meeting my standards. Which I am very happy about, I am very pleased with the customer service, that I have received from the employees when I have called with questions, they helped me fast and efficiently, and actually paid attention to what I was saying, which I have found to be the problem with most Places (they just don't listen) and it takes twice as long to fix a simple problem. I am just over all very pleased with my HIgh-Speed Internet service. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Qwest 7Mbps high-speed Internet svc w Microsoft

I have had this service since January 12th of this year. It is now February 1st. To date, the customer service level has been excellent from the point of my inquiry about bundling phone line service with the 7Mbps Internet service through installation.
Because I had previously used a cable company for Internet service at a speed of up to 8Mbps, I felt confident that 7Mbps would be fast enough. With cable, the speed decreases as the number of users simultaneously increases. I believed this situation would not be a problem with Qwest's service.
I have always been satisfied with Qwest's phone service. I was not satisfied with the cable company's phone service because, when electric power is out, so is the phone. With Qwest, the phone will still work even if electric power is interrupted.
So far, Qwest's Internet service has provided the speed, quality, and reliability that I need. I would gladly recommended it to anyone.

I have to use Quick Care way to often. Way to much hassle opening links.
Not real sure I am getting full 7 megs, all the time.

There weren't any reviews for the Rexburg, ID area so we were scared to try this service. We did it and found out that it is very easy to install and speed is what we expected. Overall its a good price.

Well, I am an online fulltime student and all my work such as quizes, assignments are to be done on internet, is not working for me at all, I have to wait for the internet to come back more than five times every hour wich makes me frustrated every time I have to do my school work, such a pain!

Don't believe the speeds, but otherwise decent

Qwest has completely oversold their capacity and so I rarely get the advertised speeds. Except for late at night and sometimes in the morning, I never get a download speed greater than 1-1.5 Mbps. Upload speed is pretty much as advertised, which is slow. If there was any real competition in the broadband market you'd get much more speed for your money, but this is just the way it is here in land of capitalism.
But, at least the service has been reliable and I haven't had to deal with customer service. Installation was pretty straight forward. Be sure to hook a computer directly to the modem for the online setup and be patient after you first plug in the modem. Piece of cake.

Unreliable modem!

Every time I log into my work and and it sets up a VPN it eventually messes up the QWest router and I have to reboot it. I've rarely had to reboot routers with other providers. I have to reboot this router every other day.

It's faster than dial-up. There are times though when the system does not come up.
